You all deserve a round of applause and a reason to celebrate, and The 2022 Foodist Awards on Thursday, June 2nd will be a celebration for the ages. Mark your calendars and plan to join us for this celebration of Arizona’s incredible restaurant and foodservice industry.
We missed seeing you in person the last two years, but this year, as people will once again be able to gather together, The Foodist Awards will be back for an in-person event and a much-needed opportunity to come together, break bread, and toast to all we have collectively overcome.
Every year (minus 2020 and 2021), the Arizona Restaurant Association invites the industry and foodie fanatics to have a seat at our table as we honor the culinary minds that have helped shape Arizona’s culinary landscape. Some cook regularly in their kitchen; some dream of the next great concept; some mix it up behind the bar; and others manage foodservice solutions. All contributed to an exciting year of exhilarating food developments.
The Annual Foodist Awards recognizes and celebrates our thriving restaurant community through 20 coveted awards. Foodist Awards is the night to come together as we recognize Arizona’s incredibly talented individuals and companies and toast to an incredible year.

About the Award Recognitions
2020 and 2021, were two of the hardest years we have faced. As a local industry, as a community, and nationally and globally across society. They were years in which restaurants were just trying to survive, and from that need the industry created some truly unique pivots, innovations, and dining trends. Some were notable, others remarkable and many will live on beyond this moment in time. Our community came together in new ways and supported initiatives born out of simple needs, like hunger and kindness. Operators rewrote the book on service, adopted new technology, redesigned dining out, literally took to the streets to expand their dining rooms outdoors, invented new concepts, and dazzled us as we embraced holidays at home. There was so much impressive work done by so many, and that deserves recognition.
